Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer technology that replicates a real or artificially created environment, and simulates a user’s physical presence in a way that allows the user to feel as part of the environment or even to interact with it. It is primarely presented thourgh either a computer screen or a virtual reality headset.
Some simulations include additional sensory information like smells, wind or physical feedback and include sound through speakers or headphonesand. The immersive environment can be similar to the real world for training and education purposes or it can differ significantly from reality, such as in VR games.
